Dr Jadon is a true example of what a consultant should be. I have been treated for Ankylosing Spondylitis for over 40 years and he is without doubt the most caring and capable consultant I have dealt with. I am lucky to be under his care and that of his team. As well as being a true professional he is also clearly an example of why, for all its criticism, the NHS is the the brilliant institution that it is. - humanity, compassion, care and expertise. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone with a rheumatic condition. As well as being a leader in his field, he listens carefully and takes into account his patients feelings and recommends rather than instructs leaving the final decision to the patient.

Dr Jadon welcomed me into the consultation room and asked me about myself and family history, and how I was feeling. He was very understanding and said that he would like to have some more specific blood tests done and to have x-rays done. Dr Jadon asked about the medication I'm taking and if I feel it is helping, he than examined both my hands thoroughly and explained what he was feeling in my knuckles and joints. He made me feel very relaxed and reassured. He then examined my knees and feet whilst telling me that he will arrange a steroid injection to be given before I leave outpatients, this will give good pain relief over the next 4 - 6 weeks. During which time he will have my x-ray and blood results back. Dr Jadon explained I probably have osteo/rheumatoid arthritis, and these drugs are given, Sulfasalazine, Leflunomide and Methotrexate. He explained the first two have some unwanted side effects which could be quite uncomfortable, Methotrexate he would suggest, as it's side effects are pretty low although it can affect the liver, lungs and kidneys. So what we will do is meet again in approx 4 weeks with the Rheumatology nurse, to go through in depth my arthritis and how Methotrexate works, side effects as well, we can the decide and start on a treatment. I was relieved to have had such a good appointment and to have been given different options and information. I did feel at ease and comfortable with Dr Jadon. As this is the first time meeting him, I don't feel its my place to suggest how to improve, I am very pleased today.

Dr Jadon was very thorough with my medical history and the symptoms I have, the only thing I find difficult is talking whilst he typed, I find I stop what I was saying and then forget what I was saying. Dr Jadon examined me and confirmed my diagnosis anf what happens next, I was given lots of information leaflets which will be very useful. Thankyou for a very informative appointment I feel very reassured that I will be very well cared for by the team

Having seen Dr Jaden three times now, I found him to be a very pleasant and caring doctor. I felt he listened to my concerns and did his best to help me with my long term condition. I would without doubt be happy to recommend him to anyone.

On my first visit to see Dr Deepak Jadon he asked me how i was feeling, i explained how i feel and all the pain i was in, with that he said he would add methotrexate and see if this helped, He said it would take up to three months to work and it did I feel much better, i am so great full, though the time with the doctor was a bit rushed it would have been better with a little more time.
